Running For Our Heroes 5K

Hosted by the Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center (VNSC) and Douglas County Veteran Services, this 5K run/walk takes participants through campus. Registration, as well as the start and finish line, is located at the Marcovich Wellness Center at 1810 Catlin Ave. Prizes and awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three males and females in several age categories.

All proceeds benefit the Douglas County Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund as well as the UW-Superior VNSC Emergency Fund. Since it started, the Running for Our Heroes 5K has raised more than $10,000.

Books with Buzz
